2024 Myrtle Beach Classic Round 3 Conditions
Sunny with a moderate breeze.
2024 Myrtle Beach Classic Round 4 Weather Bias?
Sunny with a consistent 10mph breeze.
Round 3 Outright Market Summary
Chris Gotterup has a four shot lead at the top of the leaderboard and is now a general 8/13 chance to win for the first time on the PGA Tour.
Gotterup has limited experience in contention and failed to win on the Korn Ferry Tour last year. The sole tournament he entered the final round inside the top five (the NV5 Invitational), he slipped down to fourth. However, one tournament is too small a sample to judge him on and he is certainly playing well enough to win.
Converting a four shot lead is never an easy task though and if you do wish to back Gotterup it may be wise to back him in-play. Even the most experienced of professionals find it difficult trying to convert a big lead, the uncertainty of whether to attack or play conservatively and protect the lead often resulting in a number of weak shots. It wouldn't be a surprise to see Gotterup's lead reduced and his price increase.

Paul Barjon TOP FRENCH- Evens @ Livescorebet
This market is essentially a head to head with Barjon against Victor Perez. Barjon currently holds a one shot lead but is available at evens to finish the contest as the top Frenchman. Neither player has excelled tee to green so far this week but Perez's approach play has been particularly poor and Barjon looks worth siding with at evens with a shot advantage.

2024 Myrtle Beach Classic Round 2 Conditions
The wind was inconsistent throughout the day, with stronger breezes intermittent.
2024 Myrtle Beach Classic Round 3 Weather Bias?
The weather is forecast to be sunny with a minimal breeze (8mph max) all day so no advantage to early starters in round three.
Round 2 Outright Market Summary
Chris Gotterup has taken over at the front of the betting after opening up a one stroke lead at the top of the leaderboard. Strong approach play has been the key to Gotterup's position at the top, given that he ranks 2nd SG: Approach.
There is no doubting Gotterup is a tremendous talent, having enjoyed a stellar amateur career where he picked up the Nicklaus and Haskin awards for the best college player in 2021-22. However, he is yet to win as a professional and odds of 4/1 are certainly slim. Given Robert MacIntyre is only a shot back and is a proven winner in Europe along with a being a member of Europe's Ryder Cup team, the two should be closer together in the betting.

Chez Reavie TOP 20 FINISH 19/20 @ Skybet
Reavie was one of our outright selections at the start of the week and has positioned himself nicely after the first two rounds at eight under par. He ranks inside the top 10 for SG: Approach and SG: Around The Green through the opening two rounds and looks to be in a good position to kick on over the weekend. He is a general 8/11 for a top 20 but the 19/20 with Skybet looks to be a price that is worth taking.

2024 Myrtle Beach Classic Round 1 Conditions
The wind picked up considerably in the afternoon, with early starters enjoying calmer conditions.
2024 Myrtle Beach Classic Round 2 Weather Bias?
Thunderstorms are possible with the wind forecast to blow around 14mph.
Round 2 Outright Market Summary
Beau Hossler is the 6/1 favourite given he jointly leads with Robert MacIntyre. Hossler commented post round that his game felt "solid" and he "hit the ball well." However, that certainly wasn't reflected in his stats as he ranked 77th for SG: Off The Tee and 105th for SG: Approach.
Those poor stats combined with an indifferent record when in contention mean that he makes little appeal at 6/1.

Alejandro Tosti Second Round Leader 10/1 @ General
Tosti was on our radar this week after some exceptional tee to green stats when missing the cut last week in Texas. A stone cold putter saw him perform poorly at the Byron Nelson but he seemed t enjoy the greens in round one this week, ranking 9th for SG: Putting. Should that putting continue he is capable of following up his opening 65 with another low round.
