Significant Info
Castle Pines GC has previously hosted the PGA Tour but has not been a Tour stop since 2006. The International was played at the course between 1986 and 2006.
Only 50 players tee it up this week and only the top 30 in the FedEx rankings will progress to next week's Tour Championship.
There is no cut this week.
2024 BMW Championship Stats
We do not have stats available from previous years. Also, tournaments previously played at Castle Pines were played using a stableford format rather than a strokeplay format.
2020 BMW Championship Course Quotes
“Lots of well shaped greens, and elevation changes is obviously always difficult to combat." David Howell, 2006
"It probably reminds me of some places in South Africa, the courses I played, not quite as hilly as this. But it's a course we need to be quite fit to get around. You know, you get drained out here pretty quickly with the altitude and the hills here to walk. So fit players generally here this week I feel do pretty well. I think this is probably the hilliest course we play on Tour." Retief Goosen, 2006
" The fairways are okay generous, but there's a lot of trouble off the fairways if you don't happen to hit them" Phil Mickelson, 2005

2024 BMW Championship Round 3 Conditions
a modrate breeze keeping a lid on the scoring.
2024 BMW Championship Round 4 Weather Bias?
Mostly sunny with a consistent 8-10mph wind.
Round 4 Outright Market Summary
An up and down round from Keegan Bradley where he only made four pars was enough to take a one shot lead over Adam Scott. Hes now 12/5 favourite but Adam Scott and Ludvig Aberg aren't behind him in the betting. It's still a tricky puzzle to solve and we shouldn't rule out an off the pace winner given the amount of bogeys we have seen so far. The leaders are all winless this year so should be feeling a bit of extra pressure and the likes of Schauffele and Clark are dangerous from off the pace.

2024 BMW Championship Round 2 Conditions
Very little wind and a soft course after overnight rain saw players go low.
2024 BMW Championship Round 3 Weather Bias?
Mostly cloudy with a consistent 8-12mph wind.
Round 3 Outright Market Summary
Adam Scott is now a best priced 17/10 after opening a three shot lead at the halfway stage. Scott fired a flawless round of 63 as he seeks to win for the first time since February 2020.
Three top twenties in his last three starts, including two top tens, indicate Scott is playing plenty well enough to go on and win this week. However, it must be noted that the Australian has been most proficient on the greens this week, topping the SG: Putting stats through two rounds.
Scott suggested in his post round interview that he "has nothing to lose" the rest of the weekend given he will now play the Signature events next year as part of the top 50. He also cited the fact he was able to show to himself at the Scottish Open that he could contend on a Sunday at the Scottish Open a few weeks ago. Having shaken off the rust and playing with a carefree attitude, Scott certainly can't be written off this weekend.
Note - Hideki Matsuyama is no longer in contention, the former world number one having pulled out, citing a lower back injury,

Viktor Hovland over 10.5 pars - 6/5 @ Bet365
Hovland has made 13 pars in each of rounds one and two and looks to be a big price to replicate that feat again in round three. The Norwegian has struggled on the greens so far this week and hasn't been able to replicate last week's long game numbers. It seems he hasn't quite figured out Castle Pines and the price on another par heavy round appeals.

2024 BMW Championship Round 1 Conditions
A three hour delay towards the end of the day interrupted play but otherwise sunny and a modest wind.
2024 BMW Championship Round 2 Weather Bias?
A thunderstorm is once again possible in the late afternoon so play may once again be disrupted. The wind will blow 8-12mph throughout the day.
Round 2 Outright Market Summary
Xander Schauffele has moved ahead of Scottie Scheffler in the betting after the pair opened with rounds of 69 and 71 respectively. The switch in prices is also attributable to the possibility Scheffler is carrying a slight injury this week. The world number one seemed to hold his back on the 17th hole and admitted to having a sore back at the start of the day in his post round interview. Scheffler stated that he was "laboring most of the day to get through the ball" but seemed to think some ice and treatment on it would result in it being "totally fine tomorrow."
Eye Catching Niche Market Prices
Nick Dunlap to beat Max Greyserman 11/10 @ Spreadex (21/20 with Boylesports also available)
Dunlap won this two ball by nine shots in round one and is a general 4/5 chance to beat Greyserman in round two. Greyserman managed to lose 7 shots with his approach game in round one and whilst he is expected to improve significantly on that in round two, Dunlap has the quality to better him once again. Dunlap gained strokes with every area of his game in round one and came into the week on the back of a 5th place finish at the FedEx.
