Our LIV Golf Orlando Picks
1pt Each Way Peter Uihlein 40/1 @ Unibet/Bet Rivers/Skybet (1/5 1-5)
Uihlein has become a fixture near the top of LIV leaderboards since making the switch but the bookmakers don't appear to be giving him the credit he deserves. Finishes of 10th and 2nd so far this year tell us he's a man who is swinging it well. Uihlein has lived in Florida for over 10 years now and he should be comfortable teeing it up this week in his adopted home state. He isn't in the field for next week's Masters and should be fully focused on this week's event.
0.5pts Each Way Sam Horsfield 80/1 @ Unibet/Bet Rivers/Skybet (1/5 1-5)
Unlike Uihlein, Horsfield has yet to make his mark on LIV Golf but there is reason to be optimistic that a big week could be in store. He was one of only eight players to shoot three rounds under par last time out in LIV Tucson. He also returns to his Florida home and the state where he was successfully competed as an amateur (winning the Florida Amateur Championship amongst other honours. A three tie winner on the DP World Tour, he's good enough to compete this week in familiar surroundings.
2pts Four Aces GC to win Team Event 4/1 @ General
1pts Stinger GC to win Team Event 10/1 @ General
The Four Aces were the dominant team last year on the LIV circuit and it would appear that they are headed that way again this year. They have been runner up in each of the first two events this year without their star man, Dustin Johnson, firing. We expect Johnson to play well this week, having used the opening two events to shake off some early season rust. With Johnson expected to be back to his best, the Four Aces look a great price at 4/1 or better.
We watched Stinger GC win the inaugural LIV event in London last year and they have strengthened their team in the off season with the acquisition of Dean Burmester. All four team members live (or have lived) in Florida and all should feel at home this week on a test that is described as having a "links style look." They have finished 4th in each of the two LIV events this year but are priced up as joint 6th in the betting this week. We see them as the team to run the Four Aces close this week.

2023 LIV Orlando Round 2 Summary
Brooks Koepka went bogey free to open up a three shot lead going into the final round of LIV Orlando.
Notable Round 2 LIV Orlando Round 1 Quotes
"I felt like my ball-striking was same as yesterday. I might have hit a few less fairways. Putts didn't go in, and that's a nine-shot difference. Yeah, it's pretty crazy." Sebastian Munoz
"I think, I look back, Mexico I felt like I was playing pretty well, just made dumb mistakes, and then go to Tucson and I played the tough holes really well and played the easy ones probably the worst in the field. Just making sure I miss on the correct side, giving myself chances, don't take too much on, and it's worked." Brooks Koepka
"It feels good. Game is trending, just need to eliminate a little bit of mental mistakes. I've had too many of those so far this week. Just kind of sharpen that up for next week, get the mental mistakes out and go out and hopefully continue to do what I'm doing tomorrow, have a chance maybe to win the got." Patrick Reed
2023 LIV Orlando Round 3 Weather
Mostly sunny. Wind 6-9mph.
How do we expect the market favourites to perform?
We advised Koepka yesterday at 10/1 and he is now a best price 4/5 to win his second LIV Golf event.
It wasn't just Koepka's price in this event that contracted yesterday. We suggested in yesterday's blog that the 75/1 price on Koepka for next week's Masters would be worth watching. That price has now come into a general 40/1 and anyone who watched him yesterday will see him as a contender for the green jacket.
Back to LIV Orlando and Torque GC players, Sebastian Munoz and Mito Pereira, are a best price of 10/1 to reel in the Smash GC captain. With Koepka having only dropped one shot through the opening two rounds, the South American pair will need to go low in today's final round to have any chance. Both players are respected when coming from off the pace and we did consider hedging. However, a bet on their team winning may be the better option given our existing play on Koepka.
Patrick Reed is 12/1 in the betting and must also go low to have any chance of winning. We would be more inclined to back him at 80/1 for next week's Masters than take the 12/1 though.
Round 3 Bet
- 3pts Torque GC to win team event 13/10 @ Bet365
This bet makes sense on several levels given Torque GC are only two shots behind Smash GC going into the final round. Firstly, it provides a small hedge against Koepka given that two of Torque's team members are chasing our man at the top. Munoz and Pereira will need to make birdies and will likely try and post a score. Koepka, who is captain, of Smash GC will likley try and see this out without taking any unnecessary risks and whilst a score of two or three under par will likely get the job done in the individual event, his team may need more from him. Koepka can win the individual event and this bet can still land. Koepka's brother, Chase, went backwards in round two and should that continue the pressure will be on Wolff, Kokrak and Brooks to post a score.

2023 LIV Orlando Round 1 Summary
An eagle on his opening hole saw Sebastian Munoz lead from start to finish over the opening 18 holes.
Notable Round 1 LIV Orlando Round 1 Quotes
"I've been feeling pretty good with my game overall, driving, irons, putting. It just didn't feel as easy, felt like I needed to find one detail here, one feel here, and yesterday afternoon practicing after the pro-am I kind of felt something and I liked it, and I just kept that in mind today all day." Sebastian Munoz
"I think the fairways are pretty generous. Even I'm one of the shorter hitters out here, so if I can post a number out here, then yeah, the guys that can really send it out there are hitting a lot shorter irons than I am. As the greens are probably going to firm up, that's going to be probably more of an advantage." Richard Bland
2023 LIV Orlando Round 2 Weather
Mostly sunny. Wind 10-14mph.
How do we expect the market favourites to perform?
Sebastian Munoz is the 5/1 favourite with 36 holes to go. This is the first time Munoz has led a LIV Golf event and he hasn't been in contention for an event since May last year. His price is fair given the lead he enjoys but we're happy to consider others in the betting.
There isn't much separating Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka in the betting and both are available at 10/1. Johnson got off to a slow start, playing his opening ten holes in only one under par but must be considered a threat now he's only five shots off the leader.
Koepka bogeyed his opening hole and missed a short birdie putt on his 17th hole but generally looked more assured than recent times. He's been a hard player to call right in recent times, having been poor for much of 2022 before winning LIV Jeddah in October last year.
As a short aside, Johnson and Koepka are 33/1 and 75/1 respectively for next week's Masters and it may be worth keeping an eye on those odds as the week progresses.
Round 2 Bet
- 3pts WIN ONLY Brooks Koepka 10/1 @ General
Koepka is off to a flier and sits in T3rd, three back of Munoz. It makes a lot of sense to see him motivated this week, his attention is bound to be on Augusta but he will be desperate to bring some momentum into the Masters and it's likely he has been practising extremely hard in his off weeks. A motivated Brooks Koepka is always a threat to any field and he looks disrespected at double figures considering he's already a LIV winner.
